Wi-Fi 7 will see rapid adoption across a broad ecosystem with more than 233 million devices expected to enter the market in 2024, growing to 2.1 billion devices by 2028. Windows 11 is Coming October 5, 2021
Windows 11 releases for PC on October 5th. Unlike Windows 10, machine compatibility is considerably more strict than in previous versions.
Windows 11 devices must use modern device drivers which have passed the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program for Windows 11 or the latest available modern device drivers based on Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps (DCH) design principles.
Essentially machines with processors over 2 years old as of this date are not guaranteed automatic upgrades or compatibility.
However there are methods to still be able to officially upgrade these machines.
